Program Description
The Coca-Cola Food Safety Conference was held in Shanghai, China December 8-11, 2009 at the St. Regis, Shanghai Pudong. This event was organized by The Coca-Cola Company and Michigan State University for quality and food safety managers. The topics covered at this event included:
- Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP)
- Food Safety Management Systems (ISO 22000:2005) and PAS 220:2008
- Auditing Food Safety Management Systems
- The Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) and the GFSI Benchmarked schemes
Attendees of this event also participated in the pilot of the Food Safety Knowledge Network (FSKN), a joint initiative of the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) and the Michigan State University (MSU).
